JGstudio is designed as a venue for sharing my work and experiences as a multimedia producer and writer. I also endeavor to educate and inform on current technological trends and methodologies with similarly minded aspiring artists and industry professionals.
I started writing and filming live action shorts and animations at the age of ten. Soon thereafter, I was recruited to spearhead a local event videography business, perfecting my technique and skill set on multiple productions. Eventually, I went on to earn a BFA and Masters from NYU in Film/TV and Interactive Telecommunications.
In the years since, I have worked with many talented individuals creating industrial commercials, independent film, documentaries and multimedia presentations for companies such as Bed Bath and Beyond, Chase, and Warner Brothers. In addition, I have written, directed, produced, and edited over 15 short films across genres, including comedies, some of which earned industry recognition.
About ten years ago, I returned to NYU as a professor, to share my skill set and management experience to inspire and train hundreds of students in the art of video production, web design, writing, 2D/3D animation, and more. It was very gratifying to share my passion for the arts and technology and I expanded my instruction to other institutions, including St. John’s University and New York City College of Technology.
I recently relocated to Los Angeles pursuing a new landscape of media opportunities. Currently, I am writing and producing a number of video, animated and interactive projects and excited about sharing my new experiences here on JGstudio.net.
